This Henredon French Provincial dresser has been refinished in chalk paint with a variety of techniques and waxes to replicate a more authentic finish.  Combined with more modern features, such as new hardware and wallpaper lined drawers that make a statement of their own, this is a one-of-a-kind piece! 
Henredon is known for its high quality craftsmanship and this dresser does not disappoint.  It is solid wood throughout and is as functional today as it was when it was brand new.  The nine drawers are intact and all glide easily despite its age. It is sure to last many more decades!
The gold accents complement the new antique brass hardware.  Furniture painters rarely replace the original hardware on French Provincial pieces because it is so hard to find complimentary hardware that doesn't feel completely out of place on such a unique piece. However, this hardware offers a perfect alternative to the frilly, ornate hardware typical of French Provincial pieces. It modernizes it without compromising the iconic look of French Provincial furniture.
